Depart for a brief tour (on foot) in Tel Aviv, passing through the city’s modern neighborhoods, its Bauhaus architecture buildings and its beaches. The route continues in Jaffa, where we visit the interesting artists’ quarter. Visit to St. Peter’s Church. The journey continues along the coast road of Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital. Here we can see the Roman theater, the Hippodrome and Pilate’s Palace. Then the journey goes to Haifa, and we climb Mount Carmel, where the challenge of the prophet Elijah did happen. Visit to the Church of Stella Maris, headquarters of the brotherhood of Carmelites and the cult of Our Lady of Carmel. The trip continues to Bahai Temple and the Persian Gardens. From the viewpoint, we can have a panoramic view of the city and the harbor. The tour continues to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood and youth. You will visit the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Carpentry, the Fountain of the Virgin and the Eastern Market. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Departure to the Mount of Beatitudes, place of the Sermon on the Mountain, where you will visit the Basilica. The trip continues to Tabgha, where the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish did happen, and then to the Church of the Primate, the place of confirmation of St. Peter. We will also visit ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus preached. Boat crossing thru the Sea of Galilee, where was the first miracle of Jesus. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
TABOR | JERICHO | QUMRAN | JERUSALEM
Climb Mount Tabor, where was the Transfiguration of Jesus. There we will visit the Basilica. Depart for the Yezreel Valley through Naim and the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. View from the Mount of Temptation. The route continues along the Dead Sea, the lowest place in the world, to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Climb to Jerusalem through the Judean Desert, entry into Jerusalem, the messenger city of peace, and cradle of the three monotheistic religions. Panoramic view of Mount Scopus. Departure to the Wailing Wall and Mount Temple with the Mosque Al Aqsa. Continue to Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist, and visit the Visitation Church. The trip continues to Belém to visit the Church of the Nativity, the Church of Santa Catalina and the Cave of St. Jerome. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

MASSADA | DEAD SEA
Departure from Jerusalem through the Good Samaritan Lodge. Along the coast of the Dead Sea we will get to Masada. Ride the cable car to the imposing fortress, the last fortress of the Zealots, and visit the excavations of Herod’s palace, the Roman baths, etc. Going down by cable car we will reach the lowest place in the world, the Dead Sea, 400 meters below sea level. Free time to swim (if weather permits). Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation and dinner.
