After breakfast, departure to Sintra, with a visit to Pena National Palace (entry included), which represents one of the best expressions of 19th century architectural Romanticism in the world, becoming the first palace of this style in Europe. Panoramic tour by the coast, passing by Cascais, former fishing village that is today one of the most elegant residential areas in the country. Then, we will pass by Estoril, where is the famous Casino Estoril, one of the most prestigious in Europe. Lunch and departure to Lisbon, a city founded over 3.200 years ago by Phoenician traders and later inhabited by Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths and Moors. Stop in Belém and visit the Jerónimos Monastery (entry included). Free time and continue to Baixa Pombalina, a shopping district rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755, Praça do Comércio, one of the most beautiful in the city, Praça do Rossio, the heart of the city with the statue of D. Pedro IV, Praça dos Restauradores with its obelisk commemorating the Restoration of Independence. Continuation of the trip to Coimbra, the third largest city in the country, located on the banks of the Mondego River, birthplace of six kings and Portuguese capital until 1256, in addition to being the seat of the oldest University in the country, founded in 1290 by king D. After breakfast, departure for a boat cruise on the Douro River, cruise of the 6 bridges (included) and guided tour of one of the many Port Wine cellars with tasting included. Lunch.
