Departure time: arrival at the airport 120 minutes before departure time. Assistance by a Vefa assistant, boarding and travel to Rome. Arrival: landing. Transport to the hotel; Accommodation, dinner and lodging.

Breakfast at the hotel. Mass attending in site and time to be defined. In the morning, visit to the Vatican Museum, acknowledged as mankind’s unique heritage. The visit includes, among others, the beautiful the Gallery of Candelabros, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps and the Gallery of the Imaculate Conception. We will continue with the infamous School of Athens (Raphael), most of which painted by the master between 1508 and 1520. We will finish the visit in the Sistine Chapel where we can admire the Genesis and the Last Judgement, Michelangelo’s frescoes which after being fully restored, are back in all its splendor. After, a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica, the biggest basilica in the world and which area overcomes 15 000 square meters, as well as St. Peter’s Square. Lunch during visits. Return to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and lodging.

Breakfast at the hotel. Mass attending in site and time to be defined. Continuation of the visit to the “Eternal City”. We will start by admiring the Trevi Fountain (made famous in the film “Dolce Vita” by Fellini), Chigi Palace, Colonna Square (with the column of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius), the Parliament, The Pantheon (built by the emperor Adrian in the 2nd Century A.C.) and Piazza Navonna. After a panoramic stroll passing by Caelian Hill, with the marvelous view over the Coliseum and the Gladiator School, Palatine Hill, the archaeological remains of the emperors’’ palaces, Mount Aventine, the Quirinal Palace (the biggest palace in Italy, the president’s official residence) and the Esquiline on top of which one can admire the biggest of basilicas dedicated to Saint Mary Major. Lunch during visits. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner and lodging.

Breakfast at the hotel. Mass attending in site and time to be defined. Trip to Assis, north of Rome. Arrival and beginning of the visit to the town of Assis, a walled city of unmistakable medieval clipping. Time to visit this magnificent urban set built in pink stone. Its medieval alleys, surprisingly well maintained, show us beautifully decorated balconies with flowers. Visit to Saint Francis Basilica where one can admire one of the most beautiful set of frescoes of the world. Lunch during visits  Return to Rome during the afternoon at locally defined time. Dinner and lodging at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, with a local guide, panoramic view of the city. In an itinerary witnessing the ancestral origins of the “Eternal City” and the historical facts that there took place, we will pass by Piazza San Bernardo, with its Moses Fountain and in the vacinity of Piazza Della Repubblica, passing by Via Veneto, Palazzo Margherita and Porta Pinciana. Continuing through Via Quattro Fontane, where we can glimpse the Four Seasons Fountain. Then, from Via Nazionale and Piazza Venezia where we can admire the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. At the end, the opportunity to admire from Mount Gianicolo one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city. Lunch during visits. Time for free independent activities or personal visits. At a time announced locally transport to Fiumicino airport. Assistance with boarding and travel formalities to Lisbon or Oporto. Arrival and landing.
